The debate about whether or not

They argue that once the issue of the legality of the abrogation is before a court, it is wrong for the government to take over the company.

But a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye, said Jospong has not been fair to the state.

He explained that Jospong after the takeover failed to fulfil its mandate of paying $17 million to the DIC as well as rehabilitating and refurbishing facilities at the mines to enhance production.

Abronye DC who is also the NPP Bono regional chairman maintained that the Jospong case in court was “dead on arrival”.
