According to him, there is nothing new that the president
can point to in the Ashanti region since his last tour in 2018.

President Akufo Addo would today, 9th October begin a
tour of the Ashanti region after ending his tour of the Bono region yesterday.

President Akufo-Addo will visit the Kwabre East, Manso
Nkwanta, Ejura, Mampong, Sekyere Afram Plains, Kumawu, Effiduase- Asokore and
other constituencies in the Kumasi metropolis.

Beginning with a courtesy call on the Asantehene, Otumfuo
Osei Tutu II, at the Manhyia Palace, President Akufo-Addo is expected to meet
the Ashanti Regional Security Council; he will also inspect, commission and cut
sod for projects in the region.

Other engagements will include interactions with the Chiefs
and people of the region, commissioning of a 1-District-1-Warehouse project at
Mampong, cutting of the sod for the construction of the Mamponteng town roads
project among other engagements.

But Odike says he has disappointed the Ashanti region because what he has done so far do not reflect the votes that he got from the region.
