Sack incompetent Ashanti Regional Minister and Deputy- KuYA to Akufo-Addo

The leadership of the Kumasi Youth Association (KuYA) has called for the head of the Ashanti Regional Minister and his deputy, Hon. Simon Osei Mensah and Hon. Elizabeth Agyemang respectively over what they described as lack of developmental projects in the region as a result of their gross incompetence

According to KuYA’s Chairman, Mr. Tweneboah Kodua, the two
government appointees in the region lack lobbying skills to ensure several
stalled projects started by the previous administration get to it completion
stages.

“The Regional Minister and his deputy are not agent of developments. They lack lobbying skills and Hon. Simon Osei Mensah is only interested in petty issues”, Mr. Tweneboah Kodua spoke to Kumasi FM’s Nana Yaw Mensah ahead of a planned demonstration in an interview MyNewsGh.com.

According to aggrieved KuYA leadership, the continuous stay
in office of Hon. Simon Osei Mensah and Hon Elizabeth Agyemang will negatively
affect the President’s chance in the upcoming general elections.

“If President Akufo-Addo wants power for a second these two appointees must be removed before the 2020 polls”, the KuYA fumed.

“Everyone needs my political affiliation and it New
Patriotic Party so I will not hide it but I want to tell the leadership of our
party that if people of Asanteman does not get development, we risk losing
power 2020”, Mr. Tweneboah Kodua warned.
